Labour Day 2024 - Charity Walk & Donation Drive

Labour Day (1st May) is around the corner!  Migrant workers represent one of the most hardworking and low income labour communities in Singapore. How about sending them a token of our gratitude for helping build this nation?

Under the guidance of Assurance, Care & Engagement (ACE) Group of Ministry Of Manpower, we have planned a Labour Day Celebration  for Migrant Brothers along with a giveaway of rice packets and similar necessities along with a stack of mental health activities such as Yoga, Meditation, Zentangle, Name Bracelet Making & Fun Games.

We are joined 4th year in a row by Trekkers@Heart in spearheading the walk to raise funds for this giveaway.

Details of the Charity Walk:

• Date: Saturday 13th April 2024
• Starting point : Mushroom Café MacRitchie Park 
• End Point : 
• Distance : about 11 km
• Time : about 3 hours

Agenda:

• Meet at the Mushroom Café at 6:45 AM
• Warm up and start the walk
• End at Rifle Range Nature Park with a breakfast at Riffles Range Park homecooked by Big At Heart volunteers

1. Sending a homecooked breakfast for the charity walkers
2. Volunteering for the Labour Day Celebration at Terusan Recreation Center (Sunday 28 April 4-7pm)
